Stefano Tomassetti obtained his PhD in Historical and Archaeological Sciences in 2022 with a dissertation in early modern history, from the Department of History, Cultures and Civilizations at the University of Bologna, in cotutelle with Université Lumière Lyon 2 and the Laboratoire de Recherche Historique Rhône-Alpes, where he has been chercheur associé since 2023. He is currently a postdoctoral research fellow in the Department of Humanities, Social Sciences and Education at the University of Molise [PRIN Individual well-being, domestic health and collective health: spaces, practices and cultures in Early modern Italy (16th-18th centuries)] and adjunct professor at the Department of Cultural Heritage (Ravenna campus).
